Calf rearing

Stalosan F for calf pens,
hutches and young
stock housing.

Calf bedding can become wet and high-pressure quickly. Stalosan F is applied directly to bedding to help manage moisture, ammonia and hygiene pressure during the rearing period.
Cleaner bedding. Healthier calves.
Why it matters

Calf housing changes quickly.

Wet bedding, ammonia and hygiene pressure do not just affect animal comfort. They add labour, increase bedding use, slow routines and create avoidable costs.

Wet bedding

Moisture builds up faster than fresh bedding can absorb it, creating more work and less comfortable housing.

Ammonia

As urine breaks down, ammonia can build up in enclosed housing and affect air quality for animals and workers.

Pathogen pressure

Damp, warm housing can support bacteria and other organisms that increase hygiene pressure.
How Stalosan F helps

A practical bedding hygiene routine for calf sheds.

Stalosan F is a fine, dry powder applied directly to bedding. It helps manage moisture, ammonia, pH and hygiene pressure as part of a practical animal housing routine.

Helps dry bedding

Binds moisture in straw, sawdust and other bedding materials so housing can stay drier between changes.

Helps neutralise ammonia

Supports better air quality by helping reduce ammonia release in occupied animal housing.

Supports cleaner housing conditions

Used as part of a complete housing hygiene program to help lower bacteria and viral load.

Can be applied as part of routine calf shed management

Used across calf pens, poultry sheds, piggeries, stables, coops, hutches and small animal housing.
